I downloaded the Prism driver you mentioned from binaervarianz. I also tried the old drivers 1. The DWL-G is supposed to have the Prism54 chipset, but there is d-link dwl-122 mac os interface that I can figure out to use with the driver from binaervarianz.
The correct way to remove D-Link DWL completely

Thanx StiG I don't know if anyone ever got this working, but I took the following steps to get this working under Leopard Install drivers. Plugin dongle 5. Open Prefs pane, select network and d-link dwl-122 mac os key as usual. The dongle connects, but you don't have internet yet.
D-Link DWL Download and Install Mac
Log into the router from another machine and see if you can find the IP address of the dongle. Enter IP addy from step 7.
